A Korean rookie singer did a perfect cover of Abir’s Tango, exciting audiences from all over the world.
Her name is Seori and she is a Korean R&B/Soul singer based in S. Korea.
She released her first EP album [?depacse ohw] with the title song ‘Running Through the night’ on May 12, 2020. All the songs within the album are written and composed by Seori.
On 2019, she did a cover of numerous pop singers’ popular songs, such as “Talk” by Khalid, “Be Be Your Love’ by Rachael Yamagata. Among her cover songs, her cover of “Tango” by Abir has been receiving worldwide attention.
Abir, the original singer of “Tango”, said in Seori’s cover video, “So good!!!! Love love loves it,” she commented, acknowledging her musicality. It even surprised everyone by recording YouTube views well beyond the original artist’s music video.
